The Elliot near Apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road is a relatively new wedding venue, but if Joel and Gemma’s wedding is anything to go by it will soon become one of the most popular.
The day started off with the girl’s getting ready in the beautifully presented modern house overlooking the lawn which was going to play host to the ceremony. The boys were staying in Apollo Bay which is little more than a five minute drive away.
After a touching ceremony which confirmed that these two were meant for each other we ventured down onto the rocks at Apollo Bay for some portraits, before returning to The Elliot to take advantage of the stunning views along the coast.
Those same views provided a perfect backdrop for the reception, held in a marquee at the top of the cliffs, with 360 degree views of the ocean. The on site catering team providing some truly exceptional food to keep people’s energy levels high.
Once the light had gone and the music started everyone danced the night away bringing a truly perfect day to a close.
