The Workshop Rail Museum in Ipswich played host to the Waste & Recycling Industry Queensland‘s Future Waste Resources Convention and they invited me along to capture it.
Over two days the attendees heard from a range of speakers from both government and industry on how the future will require a much more circular approach to the economy. It was really great to see people from across the community come together at this conference and discuss how best to solve problems in waste management.
The third day of the event featured a public open day which allowed local residents to come and see how their waste was being managed and returned to the useful side of the economy whether through recycling or re-use.
