The Foodservice Suppliers Association of Australia held their annual industry awards ceremony in Sydney and asked me to come along to capture all of the action and ensure the winners could show everyone that they had been recognised by their peers.
Doltone House in Darling Harbour played host to the awards and provided a stunning backdrop both outside, with views out to the harbour bridge, and in.
Before the supplier awards got underway though two stalwarts of the industry Marilyn Jones and Adam Moore were inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Silvia Smarrelli, of Bega Cheese was the recipient of the FSAA Annual Scholarship, which provided $20,000 in management training to ensure she is able to lead the industry forward in the future.
The remainder of the awards highlighted the companies within the industry that had excelled over the past year and the winners were richly deserved.
Once the formalities were out of the way people were able to let their hair down and enjoy a fun evening networking and dancing until late in the evening.
