While I always enjoy being involved in lavish affairs where everyone has gone all out to make a day special, there is something special about more pared back family gatherings that make them a pleasure to photograph.
That was the case with this birthday party that brought together four generations under one roof to share food, drink well and share stories that show quite how much love there was between them all.
Hopefully having photographs of this birthday party will let everyone remember just how much fun they had when they came together and make it all the more likely that they will do it all again next year!
