The Colac Botanic Gardens provided a picturesque backdrop for Chloe and Nicole’s simple, intimate wedding. Surrounded by their friends and family this really was a celebration of two people coming together and showing the world how much they love each other.
Once the ceremony was complete, we had just enough time to make some portraits around the Botanic Gardens before a relaxed and casual reception at the Cafe on the Lake. The Colac Botanic Gardens cafe is definitely a great venue for a smaller reception with both indoor and outdoor seating (for those looking for larger venues do check out my western district venue guide).
It was really nice to see a wedding where the couple had stripped away all of the things that people thought they should do and focused entirely on the things which were important to them. In this case it was being able to share their day with each other and their loved ones, which they definitely managed to do!
