Colac
Located on the northern edge of the Otways, Colac was home to Paul Benjamin Photography for almost a decade (before I moved my office to Warrnambool) and is still somewhere that still feels like home.
While often viewed as a base for people looking to explore the Otways or as a stopping point on the road from Melbourne to Warrnambool, Colac has a vibrant town and is home to some really awesome locations, not least of which is the Botanic Gardens and lake which are really wonderful.
Alongside the natural beauty of the area, Colac is home to COPACC the purpose built performing arts centre which plays host to frequent events both artistic and corporate in nature.
